Having long served in the healthcare ecosystem with various responsibilities and institutional experience, Ferda BAY\u015eU has been appointed Secretary General of ARTED.<\/p>\n
ARTED was established to ensure and enhance patients\u2019 access to modern and innovative treatments in T\u00fcrkiye, to foster effective communication with public stakeholders, and to uphold high standards in the medical device market through ethical business principles. The association represents member companies that develop, manufacture, and market medical technologies, related services, and treatments used in the management of diagnosis, therapy, and follow-up processes, with the ultimate goal of enabling patients to live long and healthy lives.<\/p>\n
After completing her undergraduate studies in Biology, Ferda Bay\u015fu earned her Master\u2019s degree in Biotechnology at Middle East Technical University. Following her education, she contributed to the healthcare sector for many years, continuing her career in senior management roles with diverse responsibilities at Boston Scientific Corporation, GE Healthcare, and Johnson & Johnson MedTech. Bay\u015fu served for 13 years at Johnson & Johnson MedTech as a member of the management board, where she was responsible for the company\u2019s public and corporate communications, public procurement management, stakeholder management, strategic relations, and industry relations.<\/p>\n
ARTED, as the only national association in T\u00fcrkiye representing the country within MedTech Europe the European trade association for the medical technology industries from diagnosis to treatment will continue to contribute to the development of an innovative and high-technology-oriented medical device industry in line with its strategic growth objectives.<\/p>\n
Through this new restructuring, ARTED will continue to contribute to the sector in cooperation with the industry, with the primary objective of broadening patients\u2019 access in T\u00fcrkiye to new products, knowledge, and technology, and of elevating the medical device technologies sector in our country to an ethical, transparent, and reputable level in line with the standards of developed countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
