CVS Process Review Meeting Held with the Ethics Working Group and the MedTech Europe Team

On 7 May, ARTED Ethical Working Group held an online “CVS Processes Review Meeting” with MedTech Europe CVS representatives Dhana Ong and Sara Abanto, providing an opportunity to address the sector’s priorities related to ethics, transparency, and compliance from an international perspective.

During the meeting, current CVS practices, European-level ethical principles, and best practice examples were reviewed in detail, and approaches aimed at strengthening a culture of compliance within the sector were comprehensively discussed. In particular, an exchange of views took place on ensuring transparency, accountability, and the sustainability of ethical standards in interactions between companies, healthcare professionals, and healthcare institutions.

In line with MedTech Europe’s guidance, current needs, implementation differences, and areas for improvement within CVS-related topics were mutually shared, and evaluations were made regarding further alignment of existing practices in Türkiye with international standards.

The highly productive meeting once again demonstrated ARTED’s commitment to strengthening a sector structure based on ethical principles, sustainability, and alignment with international norms, while also establishing a shared will to further enhance collaboration in the period ahead.
