ARTED Participated in the TITCK Medical Device Sector Consultation Meeting

ARTED participated in the Medical Device Sector Consultation Meeting organized by the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency held in Trabzon under the auspices of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Türkiye, Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu, with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Health, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şuayıp Birinci, and hosted by Hüseyin Çelik, President of TITCK.The meeting brought together representatives from public institutions and the medical technology industry to discuss the sector's current priorities, regulatory developments, MDR implementation, export strategies, strengthening local manufacturing, and the future of health technologies. The consultation provided a valuable platform for exchanging views on key policy and regulatory issues shaping the sector.

During the meeting, Ferda Bayşu, Secretary General of ARTED, delivered a presentation highlighting the strategic role of medical devices within the healthcare system, global trends, evolving regulatory approaches, and regulatory priorities that are essential to the sustainable growth of the sector. Representatives of ARTED member companies also attended the meeting, actively participating in the consultation process and contributing to the sector's shared vision.
